- Act as the Chairperson of the of Amity school of engineering in Amity University
- Internal quality assurance cell (IQAC) member to develop quality system for improvement of the academic and administrative performance of the university.

- To ensure that research, consultancy and extension activities of their are accomplished within the given time frame.
- For maintaining discipline among the students in general, and in respect to their attendances, in particular. The students/s whose attendance/s are likely to fall short, should be intimated well in advance.
- To convene the meetings of the faculty members of their respective departments at frequent intervals so as to enable every faculty member to contribute his/her best to the promotion of academic and research cause.
- To ensure determination of an appropriate mix of pedagogies, research activities, including the Ph.D. programme/s and interface with industries, other academic and research institutions/concerned statutory body/bodies.
- Responsible for maintaining warranted punctuality and discipline both in the faculty and students through strict adherence to time table, attendance records and initiating disciplinary action/s, etc.

Current and Future Research Interests
Currently working to study the effect of fly ash in investment casting of austenitic stainless steel.
Future research plans are to develop the research lab to understand various effects of fly ash made ceramic shell, in investment casting using different types metals like different grades of steel (SS 304,316), aluminum alloy etc., to study heat transfer phenomena and mechanical and metallurgical properties.
