FOREWORD

I believe that education shapes the character, calibre and prospect of an individual. Education has no perimeter to restrict. Intensive and critical thinking, sharpening intelligence, refining character – all are a part of dignified education. Students of KLCC SKILLS ACADEMY are benefitted by such type of education. We want to inspire and encourage our students to take ownership of the effort required to achieve their goals. We want our students to know that talking about goals and improvements is not enough, these improvements must become a part of who they are. In the words of James Clear, author of Atomic Habits: “The goal is not to read a book, the goal is to become a reader. The goal is not to run a marathon, the goal is t become a runner. The goal is not to learn an instrument, the goal is to become a musician.” By 2030, substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship. We are preparing our students for a world of technology. We are focusing on the relevant skill set and technical know how, that students may use to ideate, to innovate and to create solutions for real life problems and help in building a sustainable world. Wishing you all a great Academic Session 2022-2023!!

KSA – OUR FOCUS

In Malaysia, there is presently a shortage of skilled workforce in information and communication technology. So, since Malaysia implemented the first computer system in 1996, the Government has introduced various initiatives to facilitate the greater integration of ICT to improve capacities in every area of life, including the enhancement of education and training programs. The conventional courses and curriculum are not sufficient to address the present-day industry needs. Learning standard courses are also inadequate as they are quite superficial and do not cover many of the practical aspects encountered in the present office scenario. The digital age has created the need for an entirely new breed of an industry specialists.

KSA – OUR VALUES

  • Honesty, Integrity and Objectivity
  • Open Communication and Transparency
  • Professional Skills and Due Care
  • Confidentiality and Professional Behaviour
